Child safety is our first job, not a checkbox:

• Shaun holds a Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and every regular helper is carded too.
• At least one first-aid-certified adult is present at every session.
• We train in a vetted indoor venue, and groups are capped at 14 so supervision is genuine.
• If you ever have a concern — about us, or about your child — talk to us directly at admin@downsacademy.com.au.

We take statutory reporting duties seriously: if we reasonably suspect a child is at risk of significant harm, we report it to Queensland Child Safety (13 16 63).
